I am glad to welcome you to my channel, today I present you another video about the process of creating the painting "Moon Elbrus" oil on canvas, 65x130 cm. I have been climbing and mountaineering for many years, and I love the mountains really, with all my heart. Mount Elbrus, located in Russia in the Caucasus, is the highest peak in Europe, 5642 meters. At the moment, I have done five ascents of Elbrus, from different sides. The picture presented today is a view from the North, from a height of 3800 meters, there is an assault camp. When the moon is full, there is such a magnificent view of Elbrus, just below the camp there is a small lake, at night it freezes even in summer. When there is time, I always write plein-air sketches, and of course make photos and videos, then in the Studio I write large paintings. I work mostly in oil on canvas sometimes with acrylic paints.
