BlackSeaRC presents a video looking at the Kyosho Mini-Z 4x4 MX-01 Toyota 4Runner (Hilux Surf) Quick Sand edition with accessory parts. In this video, we see this superb hard-body mini-crawler in action on the rocks by the river. In the first part of the video series, we reviewed this new version of the Mini-Z RC crawler in detail and presented the unboxing plus took a close-up look at all features. This small package has a full "hobby grade" specification that includes features such as metal chassis rails, rigid axles with multi-links and coil spring suspension, a high torque motor and gearbox with slipper clutch, a set of 18 metal ball bearings and of course the amazing detailed hard body with a range of scale accessories. Although we have seen the 4Runner before, this is a new version with a special colour scheme and decals plus it has a selection of additional accessory parts to even further enhance the scale realism. The Mini-Z series has a reputation for high levels of detail and this version with an injection-moulded hard body carries on the tradition. As well as checking the chassis and body in close-up detail, the first video also demonstrated the installation of an optional LED lighting set. It was then powered-up and functional checks were also conducted. In the second part of the video series, the 4Runner is subjected to off-road testing to demonstrate the performance of the truck in varied terrain that includes rock formations, a mountain trail and snow/ice conditions. This gives viewers the chance to see how this mini crawler performs and also shows some beautiful scenery around the Black Sea coast and mountains. Additionally, the compact Mini-Z is perfect for indoor crawling.
