In Russian, the word ИСТОРИЯ means both story and history, which causes lots of confusion!
🏛️ History /ˈhɪs.tər.i/ – the subject you study in school (предмет в школе)
♦️historical events (like World War II)
♦️ in medical English: patient’s history (e.g. past medical history)
📖 Story /ˈstɔː.ri/ – a personal or fictional event (история из жизни, рассказ)
♦️something you tell for fun or to share experience

🐄 Dairy /ˈdeə.ri/ – milk products (cheese, milk, yogurt)
🤩 Diary /ˈdaɪə.ri/ – a personal notebook for writing thoughts

Иногда у меня между уроками бывает перерыв 1,5-2 часа.

Many Russian learners mix up scene and stage - because in Russian, “сцена” can mean both. But in English, it’s a different story!
🎭 Stage /steɪdʒ/ — where you perform (сцена в театре)
🎬 Scene /siːn/ — part of a film or play (эпизод, момент)
So if you say “I was on the scene,” it sounds like you were in a movie - not performing live 🙂

Вот вам маленький секрет: я честно пишу сценарии. А в итоге получается что-то совершенно другое — живое, непредсказуемое и в разы смешнее задуманного.
Эти спонтанные "чё сказать" и вечные "нормально?" похоже, стали нашим фирменным стилем 😀. Самое смешное — я сама не замечала, как часто мы это повторяем, пока не начала монтировать!
Главное — в этом хаосе рождается магия. Когда мы уже на грани истерики от дублей, получается самое настоящее и смешное. Считаю, что лучшие моменты не планируются 💫
🤯Разберем сегодня частые ошибки в употреблении некоторых слов!
➪ factory (фабрика)
Ex: The company plans to shut down four factories.
➪ fabric (ткань)
Ex: The designs are printed onto the fabric by hand.
➪ choose (verb) (выбирать)
Ex: Danny, come here and choose your ice cream.
➪ choice (noun) (выбор)
Ex: It's a difficult choice to make.
➪ housework (работа по дому)
Ex: Housework is not so bad if you put some music on.
