This is my recording of Sethus Calvisius' (1556-1615) "Vox Clamantis in Deserto". The text of this piece was taken from Isaiah 40:3 and in English reads as follows "A Voice Cries Out in the Wilderness 'Prepare the Way of the Lord & Make his paths Straight." This is a duet piece which I recorded both parts of and mixed together. I recorded this piece in anticipation of performing this duet at Holy Family Catholic Church which is my home parish in Hicksville, NY.
