!!!!! DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME !!!!! !!!!!!! ALWAYS USE A LASER WITH APPROPRIATE EYEWEAR PROTECTION TUNED TO THE FREQUENCY AND POWER OF THE LASER !!!!!!! First and last experiment, where I play half-blind with a Wicked S3 laser that develops 0.1W on warmup and 1W (that's 1 Watt, or 1000 mW) in full blown mode (I did another over a year ago with the Soma Illuminator, but didn't have the beam all over my face). This laser beam is going through mirrors, spinners, and other artefacts as I play mostly half-close as the most knitted closed eyewear protection tuned to the frequency of this laser that I own has a sport glasses frame that still lets uncovered zone in my peripherals and I can't risk open my eyes wider than a short narrow blink. So I'm actually using my fingers on the Lyra trying to find out knobs from memory as I go on playing; sometimes I just turn off the laser to get my marks and grab the Dvina but the laser resumes later as a threat that gives me inspiration to play the most essential music at the moment that this atmosphere provides me. Listen in good quality headphones, or with an amplified stereo system on large columns, or on a 5.1 surround system tuned to your room.
