To learn how to clean the Evolis Avansia printhead follow the instructions below: Maintenance accessory: Evolis cleaning swab impregnated with isopropyl alcohol. 1. Turn off the power and remove USB cables and power cables from the printer. 2. Open the front cover and remove the ink ribbon cartridge and Transfer film cartridge. 3. Use an Evolis’ cotton swab to clean the heating element of the print head. 4. Wait until the alcohol is completely dry before turning the power ON. To maintain the original print quality and to absorb surplus ink on the print head, we recommend that the print head is cleaned regularly using the cotton buds supplied by Evolis.
