BMW C400GT and Shad SH58X easy mounting
In this video I want to show that you can mount the big Shad SH58X top box onto the original BMW luggage carrier with the supplied base. No special brackets or base plate needed. The only thing you need are longer M6 bolts. I cut mine to size. UPDATE 22 July 2019: After installing the back rest pillows, I can confirm that the seat will slightly touch the lower pillow when opening it. It's not by much, so for my part it's not a problem. The seat vil not touch the pillow at all if the top box is extended to the middle or top position.
