Early March Stroll on Valikhanovo Street

ОМСК On an early March morning in Omsk, bright and sunny, I decided to head downtown and take a walk on the pedestrian street—Valikhanova Street. This street in Omsk was completely overhauled from a nothing place to a tourist trap. The key feature is the striking modern fountain that forms an arch to a lookout across the Irtysh River. In the summer, the central beach is here, crowded with sun bathers, and the walkways are filled with new exercise equipment. Valikhanova Street is an eclectic mishmash of nice-looking buildings of architectural worth, cozy coffee shops, and near to everything else downtown. And today, I'll also stop into the Belov Museum to take a look at a small exhibition. I like these quirkly little museums that feature local artists.Sergey Sarsekeev is a member of the Russian Union of Photo Artists and the Russian Union of Journalists, an Honored Worker of Education, and a highly qualified teacher. Sergey Sergeyevich Sarsekeev deservedly holds the title of "reportage photographer." He is able to capture events in motion, taking numerous photographs from the scene. Like a chronicler, he documents reality, finding new topics for his photo reports. His pictures are really good, and he captures a lot of beautiful color. We take a lot of pictures these days, and we're bombarded with professional snaps until we pant 'uncle.' However, here is a good photographer and one that captures history and time, which puts him way above the rest.
