The first two female pharaohs of Egypt- Sobekneferu and Hatshepsut

Brief history of the first 2 historically confirmed female pharaohs. Sobekneferu is the first with very limited information, while Hatshepsut is the second and one of the most prolific female leaders in the ancient world. I have not included MerNeith in this series as she reigned as co-regent. The female pharaohs depicted in this series will be those who ruled as absolute monarchs, albeit for very short periods of time in some cases.
