Feedback on the scale model of the Kaliningrad Amber Plant 2021
Let me introduce myself - my name is Svetlana Shuvalova and I’m the head of the Industrial Tourism department of Kaliningrad Amber Plant Rostekh. 0:05 - 0:12 I want to say a couple of words about this unique and special project which is connected with the creation of a historical interactive subject scale model of the industrial territory of the Kaliningrad amber plant and how it was implemented. 0:13 - 0:26 A couple of months ago the work on the scale model was started and we got very lucky that we got these amazing guys from Rostov-on-Don as our partners for this project. Gosmaket company took on the implementation of all our plans and ideas. 0:27 - 0:42 A group of real specialists - engineers, artists, architects - studied all the videos, photos, documents and other historical materials and literally immersed themselves in the wonderful history of mining and processing of amber together with us. 0:42 - 1:00 During several months the guys were painstakingly recreating not only the landscape of the Baltic seashore but also the main details, compositions, mechanisms and units which allowed them to visualize the technological processes of amber mining both in pre-war and post-war periods. 1:00 - 1:19 Now on this scale model we can see a big number of buildings and constructions which nowadays are situated in our village and which are quite recognizable. I have to say that all the works were performed with high quality, responsibility and on time. 1:20 - 1:33 We are completely satisfied with the result we got. There is no doubt that our historical interactive scale model not only takes its rightful place in our new exposition space of the “Amber Chamber” exhibition hall, but it also will be interesting for every visitor - both for guests and residents of Kaliningrad region. 1:34 - 1:53 The historical scale model became the main exhibit of our new exposition space. It will be interesting for all the visitors of our exhibition hall. The historical scale model became the central art object of the new exposition space of the “Amber Chamber” exhibition hall. 1:54 - 2:13 We are convinced that it will be interesting for all the visitors of our hall.
