Fallout: New Vegas Very Hardcore Mode Ep. 28 pt.3 - (Optional) Trash Pickup Conclusion
And finally finished. I'll edit in the mathematics of how much caps I had made selling all of that junk once I skim through my archives. Though, I want to guesstimate ~3.6k caps. We'll see. EDIT: Here you go, for the math junkies. Probably missed something but this is what I got. Caps Earned - 3231 Caps Bartered - 1181 Total Caps - 4412 /==========\ This is the 28th episode of my New Vegas run. Hope you enjoy it, and leave a comment, suggestion, or anything that can help me improve on, well... anything! Heyo' viewers and friends! Welcome back to my New Vegas playthrough on Very Hard + Hardcore mode! I'm unashamed to say that I have quite the experience of playing video games at their hardest difficulties, and I am no stranger to Fallout at its' peak challenge. But here's the catch. I've been abiding by some self-established rules that I test myself with this game to make matters more interesting to me, and hopefully to you as well! My rules are as they follow: 1.) You must play Fallout / Fallout: New Vegas on Very Hard mode. This ensures your knowledge of the game and how to play around the mechanics, and a simple mistake can cost you dividends in terms of resources. 2.) Enable Hardcore mode from the start, and remain it active. The challenge of the playthrough increases slightly, now that you have to worry about four survival status ailments, and utilize those doctors bags to mend broken limbs! Also, this shuts down the ability to stimpack-spam your way back to full HP! Hah! 3.) Absolutely no dying. To make matters more interesting to the viewer and yourself, the character you will be playing will be standing at a knife's edge, and a fatal error will be your last. You must take caution of your surroundings and plan out your engagements, as each one of them could be your last! If you are interested, you can also try this out for yourself if you're up to the task, and let me know how it goes! Most importantly, enjoy and try to have a fun time for me, you and everyone! /==========\ This character's build is one that I've stuck with for the longest time, and has proven successful to me that matches my playstyle with a bit of personal-character elements. By far a personal favorite of mine. Hiruru here will be prioritizing one-handed firearms once the build has developed and try to eliminate foes with pistols, one-handed SMG's and even thrown explosives. Sneak attacks are most favorable, but a hailstorm of bullets with maximum movement speed solves dilemma's quickly, should conversation fail. ---------- For those who are curious of my stats in-game, I will always be prioritizing Endurance mostly for the high HP pool, and this playthrough will utilize Luck strictly for the high critical hit chance. My S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats as of now: (S)trength ------- 4 (P)erception --- 5 (E)ndurance --- 9 (C)harisma ----- 1 (I)ntelligence -- 6 (A)gility ---------- 6 (L)uck ------------- 9 My Perks as of now: Rapid Reload, Educated, The Professional, Pack Rat, and Run n' Gun. /==========\ Most importantly, I thank you, the viewer for stopping by and checking out the video even if you don't end up watching the full length of the film! It means a lot to me as it is, and I promise you that these words aren't hollow. Peace out, - Hiruru Wildleaf ---------- I do not claim ownership of the soundtracks and assets that occur during this playthrough. All ownership goes to their respective artists, Bethesda and Obsidian for such a wonderful game.
