Roboskills. Open City Competition in Educational Robotics. Educational robotics and programming. Roboskills is a community that unites enthusiasts who are devoted to nurturing technical creativity in children and adults and respect the principles of accessibility and openness of education, lifelong learning, and development of technical hobbies pursued by the whole families. The goals of the community is to spread knowledge and teach skills in the field of educational robotics and programming, offer help to those who want to build their first robot or write their first program, discuss and support projects, provide assistance in organization of events and competitions in technical creativity. Research and project laboratory for schoolchildren and students “Ilmarinen” was created at the premises of Petrozavodsk State University with the support of Polymedia, Intel, LEGO Education, EMC^2 companies. The laboratory is fitted out with modern digital equipment that allows carrying out research and implementing projects in the fields of physics, biology, chemistry, robotics and ICT.
