BMW coolant low indicator stays on. Coolant is not low. Expansion tank coolant sensor is bad.
2012 BMW 335i M package. Keep getting a low coolant error message. Changed the radiator cap. Hose leak was repaired this summer. Appears to be boiling over at idle. Went to dealer. Ran a pressure test overnight with no leaks. Can't seem to figure out where the leak, if there is a leak, is occurring. Oil looks fine. No milky discharge or discoloration so no evidence of head gasket failure. Temperature gage never goes above 210. Bad sensor maybe? Yes it is. $10-35 part but 2 hours to get to and back in.
