CITY OF INDIANAPOLIS EMPLOYEES TO "REFRESH" INDY PARKS Mayor Ballard will join volunteers on Monday to kick off Parks Refresh beautification efforts INDIANAPOLIS -- City of Indianapolis employee volunteers will lend a hand to beautify several Indy Parks properties May 9-11 in anticipation of the busy summer season. Participants will paint, spread mulch, collect trash, trim brush and assist with other aesthetic projects. The Parks Refresh program supports Indy Parks' mission of ensuring fun, safe, engaging and sustainable parks that enhance the quality of life for individuals, neighborhoods and communities. Sherwin Williams generously donated paint and supplies. Mayor Greg Ballard, Indy Parks Director Stuart Lowry and city employees will kick off the Parks Refresh efforts with a media availability at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 9, at Eagle Creek Park Beach.
