2020 Subaru XV Exterior and Interior
2020 Subaru XV -The new 2020 Subaru Outback will ditch the old 3.6L flat-six mill in favor of a more efficient 2.4L turbo-four taken from the recently introduced Ascent. The engine is capable of putting up 260 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque but will be offered exclusively with top grades. Base versions will retain the current 2.5L flat-four engine which now returns 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of rotational force. Needless to say, all models will be available exclusively in all-wheel-drive setup and paired with a peppy CVT gearbox that successfully balances between fuel economy and performance. Speaking of fuel economy, expect slightly lower scores than those achieved in the Legacy sedan due to Outback’s added weight and height. 2020 Subaru XV Now that the Japanese have revealed the next-gen Legacy, the immensely popular Outback is also ready for a major overhaul. The current models based on the sixth-gen Legacy sedan made their debut in 2015 shortly after their sedan role model and the next-gen Outback will be no different. With the Legacy scheduled to arrive in Fall of 2019, the Outback will likely follow in early 2020. However, we’ll get to see it sooner than that, probably at one of the auto shows that’ll close out 2019. Like its mid-size sedan sibling, the elevated wagon, too, will sport new architecture with increased rigidity and revised suspension for improved comfort and sharper handling. 2020 Subaru XV the new Outback will continue to rely on its hallmark rugged demeanor, putting practicality and capability in front of beauty. The new models are also expected to sport all of the Legacy’s improvements on the inside, including a new 11.6-inch touchscreen display with EyeSight active safety gear bundled as standard. Prices should remain mostly intact. Expect a slight increase over the current model’s price tag which comes to $27,000 at the moment. music:www.bensound.com
