The player features a premium Dual DAC chipset housing two AK4499 DAC chips providing high-resolution audio signal decoding. AK4499 is a highly-trusted 32-Bit DAC chip that is capable of providing industry-leading low THD+N and high SNR ratings ensuring quality output for the users. The Shanling M9 supports high-res 32-Bit/768kHz PCM decoding. It also has support for native DSD512 signals. Currently the Shanling M9 is limited to only 500 units worldwide, a standard M9 with different circuitry will be released in 2022. Shanling M9 supports full 16x MQA signal unfolding, decoding, and rendering. It has received the required certification from MQA bringing full MQA Support to your pocket. At this level of unfolding, users will be able to hear the original, pure sound as intended by the recording engineer. Shanling has years of expertise in designing high-quality portable audio gears. They have brought that expertise in designing the amp circuitry of the M9 Android digital audio player.
