// Гимн Российской Республики (1917; Инструментальный) Рабочая Марсельеза // "The Worker's Marseillaise" (Russian: Рабочая Марсельеза) was used by Provisional Government of Russian Republic. On 7 November, Alexander Kerensky government was overthrown by the Lenin-led Bolsheviks in the October Revolution. After the seizure of power, the Bolsheviks used the name "Russian Republic", until the name "Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic" was officially adopted. The Worker's Marseillaise is a Russian revolutionary song set to the tune of the Marseillaise. The lyrics were authored by Pyotr Lavrov, first published in 1875.
