Vivo Y17 Price in Nepal: NPR 29,390 Vivo Y17 Price in India: INR 17,990 Vivo Y17 International Price: $260 Going by the Vivo Y17 specs, it looks like an impressive phone. Even more so with its massive battery and a triple rear camera. But how well does it fare in the real life use? Well, I am gonna discuss that here. Talking about the Vivo Y17 display, the phone flaunts a 6.35-inch display in 19.3:9 aspect ratio. The display here comes with a tiny water-drop notch on the top. However, the screen on this device comes with merely HD+ resolution, which is quite a bummer for the price. However, the phone looks exciting when its cameras are considered. The Vivo Y17 features a triple camera setup at the back. The rear camera embraces a 13MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. With multiple cameras at its disposal, the device looks and sounds versatile. But on our Vivo Y17 camera review, we didn’t it all that amazing. The images didn’t have much details on them and colors weren’t so impressive either. So the Vivo Y17 triple camera setup looked more or less a gimmick to me. However, the Vivo Y17 front camera is an amazing performer. The selfie shooter captures some amazing selfies with good colors and decent amount of details. So I have nothing to complain in that respect. The Vivo Y17 selfie camera also comes into action while unlocking the device with Face Unlock feature. So there is that! But please that, while comparing Vivo Y17 vs Vivo V15, I found the images to be better from the V15. On to the performance part, the phone gets Helio P35 chipset complemented by 4GB of RAM. When the competitors are offering Snapdragon 660, Helio P70, and Exynos 9610, the choice of chipset here doesn’t sound that exciting. And that’s more pronounced while observing the Vivo Y17 gameplay. During the review period, we performed Vivo Y17 game test and the result wasn’t so praiseworthy. My Vivo Y17 PUBG experience wasn’t so delightful since I faced quite a lot of lags and stutters during the gameplay. While testing the performance between Vivo Y17 vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, the game play was much better from the Note 7, which costs way less than the Y17. Talking about the battery, the phone flaunts a massive 5000mAh battery. Given the low res display and a power-efficient chipset, the battery lasts for around 2 days on the normal use. With big battery it takes a long time to charge the phone but that’s not quite the case with the Y17.
