Yīn wèi zhè yì tiān de yuè liang shì yì nián zhōng zuì yuán de, 因为这一天的月亮是一年中最圆的， Because the moon on this day is the roundest in a year, dài biǎo zhe wán zhěng hé tuán yuán, 代表着完整和团圆， representing the integrity and reunion, suǒ yǐ Zhōng qiū jié yě jiào “tuán yuán jié”. 所以中秋节也叫“团圆节”。 so the Mid-Autumn Festival is also called "reunion festival". Duì yú Zhōng guó rén lái shuō, 对于中国人来说， For Chinese people, Zhōng qiū jié shì chú le Chūn jié yǐ wài zuì zhòng yào de jié rì. 中秋节是除了春节以外最重要的节日。 Mid-Autumn Festival is the most important festival except Spring Festival. Zhōng qiū jié zhè tiān, 中秋节这天， On Mid-Autumn day, Zhōng guó rén yì bān huì shǎng yuè, chī yuè bǐng. 中国人一般会赏月、吃月饼。 Chinese people usually appreciate the moon and eat moon cakes. Chuán shuō, 传说， According to legend, yuè liang shang zhù zhe yí ge měi lì de nǚ rén hé yì zhī tù zi. 月亮上住着一个美丽的女人和一只兔子。 a beautiful woman and a rabbit live on the moon. zhè ge nǚ rén jiào Cháng’é. 这个女人叫嫦娥。 This woman is called Chang 'e. Zhōng qiū jié shì yuè liang zuì liàng de shí hou, 中秋节是月亮最亮的时候， The Mid-Autumn Festival is the time when the moon is the brightest, chuán shuō zài zhè yì tiān, 传说在这一天， as legend said that on this day, rén men kě yǐ kàn jiàn Cháng’é zài yuè liang shang tiào wǔ. 人们可以看见嫦娥在月亮上跳舞。 people can see Chang’e dancing on the moon. Yuè bǐng shì yì zhǒng chī de, 月饼是一种吃的， Moon cakes are a kind of food, yì bān zhǐ zài Zhōng qiū jié de shí hou chī. 一般只在中秋节的时候吃。 it’s usually eaten only during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
