In short, the 5800X3D is the easy choice if gaming is your primary use and especially if your main game is Escape From Tarkov. I used the same complementary hardware for both CPUs (specs below). The 5950X was overclocked while the 5800X3D was undervolted because these were the best methods I found for squeezing out the most performance out of each chip.
