"Ticonderoga". Poem by Robert Louis Stevenson

Ticonderoga: A Legend of the West Highlands, is a poem (1887) based on a famous Scottish ghost story, written by Robert Louis Stevenson. It is the haunting tale of an eighteenth-century Scottish soldier who is tormented by spirits who foretell the place of his death. This shortened version highlights his search to find this unknown land where he will someday meet his doom. The ballad is brilliantly performed by John Shout, a professor who taught at State University of New York at Plattsburgh for many years before he passed away in 2017. We hope you enjoy our tribute to his efforts. Источник: https://www.youtube.com/@mrbarani-2cd/videos
