Mulholland Drive - Angelo Badalamenti tribute - main theme (cello, Soma Pipe, synth) - In Memoriam
Cello soloist: Анастасия Чернышова Director: Йеронимус Бош Soma Pipe: Бенуа Мюш Took me a while, but after Angelo Badalamenti passed away, I decided to create a cover of one of my favourite tunes of his. He is one of my greatest musical influences, but I am not worthy to create a cover of his music all by myself, I am afraid he would spit me out like his character in Mulholland Drive was very demanding with coffee. So I gathered a few friends and we had a meeting between the academic music and my rogue digital music. I hope you will appreciate the result. Could have done a better, cleaner recording in a musical studio, but I decided to go live and dirty in the rehearsing room where I feel comfortable because I was there many times before. I'm pretty sure David Lynch would condone the attitude.
