Нижняя опора в движении.Положение весла. (Blade position)
@Baskitravel Blade position Low Brace You can increase the support the blade provides by finding the best position to place the blade on the water. Learning If the blade is placed too far back the blade naturally will move closer into the kayak and give you less support. When the blade is placed too far forward it is hard to get the elbow above the force required if you use a flat blade. There is an optimum position that allows you to have the elbow behind the force and is sufficiently far forward to keep the blade away wide from the kayak. The amount you extend is similar to the low recovery. Reach too far with a straight arm and you lose the ability to put power into the support. Too close to the kayak and you lose the leverage and its like having a narrow stabiliser on your bike. Exercise There is still no need to go past your balance to practice the different positions. Experiment with the blade position. It is important to try all of the possible different positions to help you find the best place for you and your body, boat, and blade. Go to the extremes and try the brace really wide and close as well as right at the back and far forward. Move on... When you have found the position for the blade that you find comfortable as well as being in a position you can apply power to the brace if you need to.
