BMW Gxx Coding List (22 March 2018) Gxx: G11 G12 G30 G31 G32 G01 G02 F90 1: VIM, Video In Motion By default, Video files and DVD can be played in the Gxx’s big LCD, but video image will not show when the car is moving. As we know, when we engage reverse gear, the passenger side mirror will be tilted downwards, for viewing the kurb around the rear tyre. But by default, this angle is too big compare to F10, that means after tilt, driver can see the ground only, but can not see the normal rear side. This coding will adjust this angle to a proper one surely we can set this angle to fit the driver’s height and seat. 7: ASS (Auto Start Stop) Memory ASS is very good feature to save the earth in terms of reducing the emission. But it will surely reducing the life of all the components involved in the engine starting like starter motor. Usually starter motor has 40000 times Life, which can last 20-30 years. now it be will reduced to 2-3 years(10 times more stop and start by average. So sudden death on the road(can Auto stop but can not auto start) is a must after 3 years. By knowing this people usually turn it off every morning. After coding, the ASS will keep the setting (off or on) all the time, so no need to remember turn it off every morning, surely it still can be turned on/off manually. 8: Seatbelt Reminder Removal Disable the gong gong sound if you do not fasten seatbelt. 9: AirCon Setting Memory By default, the Aircon will not keep the internal circulation on, so you have to manually press the button every morning to avoid smell outside. After this coding, the internal circulation setting will be memorised, will be always on. But surely can be turned off manually. 10: Alpina Kombi (Blue Version) Giving you the Alpina Style Instrument cluster with 330km/h max speed. If you take photo in the car for social media sharing, this is the best background! 11: M or V12 Logo in Kombi and Startup animation in EVO 12: Speed Limit Info in Kombi and HUD With this coding, your front camera in the windscreen will have the ability to Recognise the Road Sign of Speed limit, example, 80 or 90, then this will show up in your instrument cluster and if you are over speed, the cluster will indicate how much you are over speeds in an obvious way, but it will not be irritatingly warning you by buzzer. If you don’t have windscreen KaFAS camera, it will also working by this coding. 13: Ambient Light Color Customisation If you go to the “ambient light setting”, you will have 9 color combinations preset by BMW. But if you need a very special combination like M style: Dark Blue, Light blue, Red, which is not in this 9 settings. After this coding, you can request what ever color combinations, including the roof lights changing from orange to White. 14: Rolls Royce Ringtone Change your incoming call Ringtone to Rolls Royce type. 15: KM Miles digital Speedo In Some UK Gxx unit: there is small digital speedo but it is in MPH, even you set the unit to KMH in the System. We can change it to KMH by coding. etc.
