EG2Tv (City Electric Train, Type 2, Tverskoy), EGE2Tv (City Express Electric Train, Type 2, Tverskoy), also known by the common commercial name " Ivolga "is a family of 3 kV DC electric trains manufactured at JSC Tver Carriage Building Plant (TVZ). In 2014, the basic version of the EG2Tv electric train was created as the ancestor of the basic universal platform of Russian new-generation electric trains. The factory designation of the EG2Tv train is 62-4496; factory designations of cars-62-4497, 62-4498 and 62-4499 for trailed head, motor intermediate and trailed intermediate cars, respectively, go to the section "# General information". The factory designation of the EGE2Tv train is 62-4556.
