Listening to this piece, I felt the urge to express it through the trombone. Its vocal character and emotional intensity naturally led me to imagine a dialogue between trombone and piano — calm, honest, and unforced. This recording grew out of that idea: an attempt to approach the Élégie from a new sonic perspective and to hear it differently — through another sound, another breath, another sense of time'.
