OBD2 in head unit using Raspberry PI
2014 Subaru Forester XT with bolt-on Pioneer AVH-X5600 head unit connected to a Raspberry PI which reads data from the OBD2 port. Written 100% in Python, graphics is a 660x400 hand drawn static picture which is being used everyframe as a starting point to draw graphics Components Used: Raspberry Pi Model A ELM327 v1.4 with USB cable PyObd library for accessing OBD2 Pioneer AVH-X5600 with Subaru infotainment adapter for steering wheel controls
