Turn off all modulations. GENERATOR I. 1. Put generator I on 6, generator II on 0. 2. Range on 4. 3. Play upper A, tune it to A using shift control 4. Play lower A, tune it to A using pitch control Repeat 3, 4 until both upper and lower A are tuned. 5. Range on 32. 6. Play upper A, tune it to A using register control 7. Range on 4. 8. Play upper A, tune it to A using shift control. Repeat 5, 6, 7, 8 until upper A is tuned. GENERATOR II. 1. Put generator I on 0, generator II on 6; put generator II's relative pitch to 0. 2. Range on 4. 3. Play upper A, tune it to A using shift control 4. Play lower A, tune it to A using pitch control Repeat 3, 4 until both upper and lower A are tuned. 5. Range on 32. 6. Play upper A, tune it to A using register control 7. Range on 4. 8. Play upper A, tune it to A using shift control. Repeat 5, 6, 7, 8 until upper A is tuned. Then, put both generators on 6 and voices on 2. If you did well, your Polivoks is tuned. If there is a slight discrepancy between the two generators, you can adjust it with generator 2's relative pitch knob.
