iPad 3G speed test: AT&T vs. Verizon
While in a hotel in Ohio I've decided to record one of my regular speed comparisons between AT&T's and Verizon's 3G service (using Verizon MiFi2200). I'm driving from New York to Chicago and this is one of the very few places where AT&T actually has the 3G service. And, as you can see for yourself, the "fastest network in the nation" is not quite fast. And it's very unreliable. The speeds do go up above Verizon's, but only in a very few places, and even then the speed graph keeps jumping up and down (note the speedtest app graphs), while on Verizon the speed is very consistent throughout.
