Ce CD est constitué d’une succession de plusieurs séquences musicales mises en scène de manière très cinématographique, rendant compte de l’univers de la steppe. Les éléments électroniques viennent naturellement renforcer le côté ‘transe’ et ‘ambient’ inhérent à la musique chamanique. Tous les instruments traditionnels sont joués par des musiciens mongols ou kalmouks. Les sons de la nature (vent, tonnerre, loups, chevaux…) qui lient les chansons entre elles du début à la fin de l’album ont été enregistrées sur place pour créer un univers sonore authentique, en harmonie avec la dimension cosmique de la steppe. ⤫⤬⤫ A haunting invitation to travel. Here is the highly anticipated album of Okna Tsahan Zam, charismatic representative of overtone singing and the Kalmuk culture of Western Mongolia This album - produced, arranged and mixed by Claude Samard - consists of a succession of several musical sequences staged in a very cinematic way, reflecting the universe of the steppe. The electronic elements naturally reinforce the 'trance' and 'ambient' side inherent in shamanic music. All traditional instruments are played by Mongol or Kalmyk musicians.
